I think that as we grow and move through life, it becomes increasingly easy to lose track of time and, consequently, pay attention to the surplus of beauty this world offers. We don’t pause and stare like we did when we were children; we don’t notice and take the time to appreciate the beauty of our earth’s vastness as frequently as we used to when our minds weren’t filled with the stress of important things to do in our day-to-day lives. Because we now feel we know too many dangers and unfortunate realities about the world as adults, we have become less able to rationalize why certain things should be noticed for their beauty.
I believe that what we are all seeking is a re-establishment of a forgotten beauty we only occasionally had the ability to see throughout our lives.
